The sky is pink builds the story in the first -person point of view. Aisha takes the audience ona journey with the Chaudhary family. The makers have attempted to illustrate how to live for the moment happily and not worry about the future.
The character of Naren Chaudhary is played by Farhan Akhtar who has interpreted it very well as Akhtar can emote how a father is mauled by the wound of losing their children yet he needs to be strong for Aditi who needs to be supported all through this loss.
Therefore the coping up mechanism is that he does not want to talk or think about it initially, he overcomes all his fears and this is evident when he puts up the picture of all the three children together.
Aditi Chaudhary is effortlessly portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas picking up each nuance of motherhood in her personality. She depicts the struggle of choosing between the two children- Ishaan and Aisha
Rohit Suresh Saraf essays the role of Aisha’s brother Ishaan. He wants to be strong for his family but at the same time he is very vulnerable as he is scared of losing his sister. The brother- sister bond is beautifully showcased in the scene when Aisha calls his brother and tells him about death slowly coming for her and she doesn’t want to die. Near the close of the movie he also owns up the fear and dismay of losing a sibling. Rohit has made the
audience feel Ishaan’s emotional ride.
To conclude the subject of the film is strong and it needs to be kept as real as possible which
the director has to an extent been successful with it.
