Mann ki awaz Pratigya 2 is a show produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut production. It currently airs on Star bharat. It is a sequel to Mann ki awaz Pratigya which aired on star plus. Puja Gor and Arhaan Behl and almost entire cast have been retained with few changes and additions to the season 1 cast.
Anupam Shyam as Thakur Sajjan Singh did an outstanding job in both seasons. The senior actor is able to pick up the nuances of the character so well and perform it so brilliantly. The audience tends to miss him in the scenes the character is absent. Sachal Tyagi as Shakti Singh has been a minor replacement in the show. Sachal has taken the place of Jaswant Menaria. By stepping into the shoes of Jaswant Sachal has made the character of Shakti even more menacing. Parvati Sehgal as Komal Singh: In the first season we see goon like behavior in Komal’s character. While in the second she becomes all calm and composed after losing her spouse and child. The hair and makeup department in the show has tried to give her a light; subtle makeup and a simple hair do to reflect the calmness even on her face. The major change in her character is that she has started believing in God and spends a lot of time in temple at home. Athar Siddiqui has done a fantastic job as Dhara Tyagi as Lunatic. The character fears fire and he has done the fire scenes so well that the viewers do relate to him and feel sorry for him as well.
In the second season a lot of stuff is happening right from the first episode and the makers are trying to keep the audience engaged and hooked to the Television screen for half an hour. The story line focuses on the Pratigya’s family life with Krishna and her in laws and not the Saxena’s yet.
