Pyaar kii yeh ek Kahani is an Indian supernatural romantic television series. It was directed by a group of directors namely Partho Mitra Raminder Singh Suri, Ashish Shrivastav and Nitesh Singh.
The plot is a mixture of Vampire Diaries and Twilight. In the late 2010 and early 2011 Damon Salvatore and Edward Cullen enjoyed a huge fan base irrespective of the country. Indian television industry gave us Abhay Raichand. The new found vampire gave a tough fight to Damon and Edward amidst the Indian viewers.
The main leads as well as the supporting cast were all superb in their roles. The show managed to us to the world and believes that the vampires do exist in real life. I also believe that the television series to an extent do justice to the original masterpiece it took inspiration from.
Now let’s talk about the performances of Pyaar kii yeh ek kahani which I liked:
- Vivian Dsena as Abhay Raichand He made all the female fans skip a heart beat in the avatar of a vampire. He was an ever loving and supportive vampire boyfriend to Piya.
- Kishwer Merchant played Haseena Raichand. She was a pretty sexy female vampire. I loved the way she was the lady boss controlling both Abhay and Chand Raichand when the need arises.
- Priya wal as Misha Dobriyal. She was all cool college girl. She is tomboy family person and quite popular among the friends. She always stands up for her friends as well as strangers. She is a very relatable character to all the young college going crowd.
- Vishal Gandhi as Kabir Singh Rathod. He is a typical college dude; the girls are crazy for him because of his Royal lineage and various reasons. On the other Kabir is a simple person searching for his true love.
- Madhura Naik plays the role Tanushree Ambolkar. She is the brat at college. She is only interested in looking good and dating handsome men in college. Kudos to the actor to effortlessly portray Tanushree with so much ease.
