Shimla Mirch is 2020 Indian Hindi language romantic drama film. It is directed by Ramesh Sippy.
The storyline of the movie revolves around Avinash who has fallen in love with Naina at the very first sight. Naina on the other hand does not understand any hints given by Avinash. She even goes on to use the love letters given by him to cheer her mother Rukmani as she is going through a hard time. Gradually Avinash realizes that Naina isn’t interested in him romantically and decides to leave. Later Rukmani plays the catalyst and makes Naina realize that Avinash and Naina are made for each other and both of them should get married.
The script of the movie comes across as a sweet love story on paper, but it loses the essence when it is made into a film. The movie is so bad in its execution that even big stars like Hema Malini, Dharmendra and Ramesh Sippy couldn’t save the sinking boat. Even the fresh pairing of Rajkumar Rao and Rakulpreet Singh couldn’t do much for the film.
