Ek Villain returns is an upcoming Indian Hindi language action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balajii Motion pictures and T series. It stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The cinematic piece has the music by Ankit Tiwari, Tanishq Bagchi and distributed by AA films.
The trailer opens with referring to the villain from the first film followed by moving forward to the villain of the sequel. The new installment concentrates on the antagonist killing these women who have caused pain to their partners involved in one sided love story as he or she find themselves in a similar situation.
I like that Ek Villain returns tries to build a mystery around the fact as to who the villain of movie really is. I really love that the female actors are given importance and are not just reduced to playing the love interest to handsome men.
The only problem with the trailer is that it reveals way too much at crucial points making it less exciting for the audience. I really wish the movie has some surprises in store for the public coming to the cinema hall.
The sequel has a lot of competition from the 2014 film. I hope this film can make its own mark in the minds of the audience or not is what I am eagerly waiting for.
