This daily soap is an Indian coming of age romantic drama television series aired on Star plus. It is directed by Rahib Siddiqui produced by Sukesh Motwani under the production company Bodhi Tree productions.
The simplicity of the story and fresh pairing of Mishkat and Aneri is the key to the popularity and the audience’s heart as they fully enjoyed the chemistry between the two actors. Mishkat and Aneri proved that the chemistry between the actors need not be intense and passionate to woo the masses.
Initially Nisha and uske cousins concentrated on the journey of Nisha and her cousins fighting through all the hardships of life together, standing up for each other in difficult times. The director of the show added a gem in it by showcasing the entire experience of the Kabir and Nisha as a unit was wonderful from being complete strangers to friends followed by marriage then lovers. The equation between the duo have a sense of realism and every girl relates to them and hopes for a life partner like Kabir.
The show was pulled down because of low TRP but the loyal fans of the show as well as Nisha and Kabir deserve the love story progress of their favorite couple. The show deserves a season 2.
Now let’s talk about the supporting cast of the show whose performance stood out for me.
- VM Badola as Nemichand Gangwal: he plays the role of Nisha’s grandfather who is strict yet loving and caring. The old man has many shades in his personality.
- Veena Mehta as Saroj Gangwal is a loving grandmother and a supporting wife. She is the one who balances the family and tries to keep them all together.
- Pubali Sanayal as Lakshmi Gangwal: she is Nisha’s mother who is always worried about her family, husband and children. It is a joy to watch the bond between Nisha and her mother. My favorite dialog being Lakshmi relax me.
- Khayati Keshwani as Vasundra singh Rathod: She is the mother of Kabir and Viraj. She gets to a revenge mode on with the Gangwal family for the petty issues in the past and goes on to separate the love birds Kabir and Nisha which adds a spice to the track.
