Why is Indian Media obsessed with star kids?

Publicity is defined as attention given by the newspaper, Television and other forms of media to something or somebody. Publicity can be positive or Negative. The celebrities often get the positive publicity for their contribution to Indian Cinema.

Indians have always had fascination towards the rich and famous. Instagram has become a medium to follow those you aspire to be like. The growing interest of the public has led to the rise in celebrity photographers following these stars as well as star kids around places.

The celebrities have made a choice to deal with so many media personnel following them for their orbit of work they have decided to do. Media wants to make money out of the pictures clicked by them but it is wrong to give attention to the star kids just because their parents belong to the mighty Bollywood industry.

The children of these superstars are not used to all the limelight and gradually understand that it is going to be a part and parcel of their lives as well because of their nepotistic background. These stars often teach their children to overlook the constant breach of privacy in their lives.

Media of our country should be liable and careful not to give attention to the star kids without any individual achievements in their work life. It is not fair to make a star kid an internet sensation. These kids should make their own name in whichever field they want to and not depend on any sort of preference.

I believe that the attention given to the star kids have created a hype towards these kids in Bollywood and so all the big producers and directors are busy planning the launch of these star kids in Bollywood and nobody wants to pay even little attention to the outsiders who can be talented too. I feel it unfair to the new faces that don’t belong to film industry.
